講義情報/Course Description

主題および 達成目標（2,000文字以内） /Themes and goals（up to 2,000 letters）	地球上に存在するあらゆるものは、相互に影響しあっている。実際に「人と人」「人と自然」「人と社会」「社会と自然」の間で、情報、エネルギー、物質の様々な遣り取りがなされている。コミュニケーションは「人と人」の間のアイデア交換を指すことが多いが、これらの様々な遣り取りを「コミュニケーション」と呼び、そのコミュニケーションに着目して研究を進めることで研究の進展につながることがある。I 　本講義では、教科書的な講義では得られない研究現場からの講義を聴講し、研究に取り組む姿勢、概念の把握、異なる学問分野の共通性を探る。また、研究発表などの公式な場でのコミュニケーション（フォーマルコミュニケーション）のスキルを学ぶ。      In the present world, it can be said that everything is based on the exchange of something. There are various kinds of exchange of information, energy and materials between “humans and humans,” “humans and the natural environment,” “humans and societies,” and “societies and natural environment.” The word “communication” is generally used to represent the verbal or nonverbal exchange of ideas among humans. Here we expand the concept of “communication” and redefine it to mean all the exchanges of information, energy and materials. Then, it is one of useful approaches to promote research while forcusing on and/or utilizing the redefined “communications.”      In the class,  research topics and their way how to grasp research objects are also lectured from several advanced researchers of various research centers in UEC. Further, concepts and skills on “Formal communication” are lectured. It is expected that the students find out some commonality and individuality in the research topics and their approaches.

成績評価方法 および評価基準 （最低達成基準を含む） （1,000文字以内） /Evaluation and grading （up to 1,000 letters）	レポートにて授業の理解度を評価して「合」、「否」で評価する。授業への出席を前提としている。 なお、交通機関の運休、インフルエンザ罹患、忌引きについては「出席に準じたもの」とするので、欠席届けを提出のこと。自身が登壇しての学会発表も「理由のある欠席」とするので、担当教員宛に学会プログラムを付けて連絡のこと。 The grade of the evaluation is “possible” or “not possible.”  Based on evaluation of the reports, grading decisions are made. It is assumed that the students attend all the classes. Absences are excused　in case of emergency, sickness, and trips to conferences。
