To develop mastery of spoken academic English , including the ability to summarize material in spoken English and to present a one-sided argument. Course Goals 1. To present a one-sided academic argument. 2. To summarize the main point of different kinds of texts. 3. To learn basic skills of critical thinking. 4. To learn the basic skills of an argument-style presentation. |
