There will also be writing and research assignments to plan for your oral presentations. Many classes will start with a group discussion based on the homework, so it is essential for the content of the class that all students do the homework every week. Critical evaluation of oneself and of peers will be major components of the class. This entails that revision will also be a major component.
Always bring a learner’s English dictionary to class (paper or digital). An English-Japanese dictionary can also be useful.
