(a)自国中心主義・民族中心主義の台頭、移民・難民排斥運動の激化、自国中心の経済圏の構築などに見られるように、現在、世界には多極化の動向が見いだされる。その要因としての、政治的、社会的、文化的、歴史的背景を学習し、それと同時に、自身を成立させている背景を捉え直すことが、本講義の主題である。 (b)世界の多極化の要因となる背景を、自分自身のそれをも含めて理解し、それにより自己の行動指針を見いだすことが、本講義の目標である。 (a) Theme of the class: to understand the cultural background of each sphere of the world (b) Aim of the class: to find where you stand in the world today |

(a)授業内容： 第01回 ガイダンス――国のかたち（担当：中橋） Introduction 第02回 ヨーロッパにおけるドイツ（担当：中橋） Germany in Europe 第03回 20世紀前半のドイツ（担当：中橋） Germany in the first half of the 20th century 第04回 危機に対するドイツの反応（担当：中橋） German reaction to crises 第05回 フランスの概要（担当：西村） Introduction to France 第06回 フランス社会と移民 French society and immigrants 第07回 フランスのライシテ（非宗教化）（担当：西村） "Laïcité" in France 第08回 フランスにおけるジェンダー、セクシュアリティの問題 Gender and sexuality issues in France 第09回 朝鮮半島の地理、文化、言語概説（担当：黒島） Overview of geography, culture, and language in Korean peninsula 第10回 朝鮮語と文字（担当：黒島） Korean language and writing system 第11回 朝鮮語と食（担当：黒島） Korean language and food culture 第12回 朝鮮語と韓流（担当：黒島） Korean language and "Hallyu (Korean Wave)" 第13回 漢字の生成と造字法（担当：范） Generation and creating method of Chinese character 第14回 明治期の漢字による訳語（担当：范） Translation words by Chinese character in the Meiji period 第15回 明清時代における日中の文学交流（担当：范） Literary exchange between Japan and China in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (b)それぞれの文化圏の専門家によるリレー形式で、講義の授業が行なわれる。小レポートが課される。 |

(a)成績評価方法：各教員から出される小レポート (b)成績評価基準：文化を扱う態度（自己を自明視しないこと、他者の論理を――部分的にせよ――自己のものとして引き受けうる態度など）をどれほど理解しているか、そして、それをどれほど適切に表現できるかにより、評価されます。 (a) Reports are required by each lecturer. (b) Evaluation: whether you learn the logic of ohters, how clear you express it in a paper |

文化は、最終的な根拠を欠くにも関わらず、それなしでは済まされない一種の行動原理である。他国の文化の奇妙さを学ぶことで、自身の文化の――他の人々にとっての――奇妙さを学んでください。 Cultures decide how we think and act, though they have no clear reason. Other cultures seem odd. However, it is ture of ours. We should know how odd our culture is to others. |
