近年の国際化の進展と共に理科系学生の実践的な語学力、コミュニケーション能力の向上が不可欠な物となっている。本ICT国際プロジェクト教育科目は、本学と北京郵電大が連携してプロジェクトベースラーニング（ＰＢＬ）を実施し、与えられた課題を協力して解いて行く過程で、参加学生が国際性と実践力を身につけることを目的としている。 This course focuses on PBL (project based learning), where students from BUPT in China, and UEC in Japan work together in cooperative groups, and try to find a solution to specific problems. The aim of this course is to give students an insight into the state-of-the-art technology in the field of ICT, practical problem-solving knowledge through a performance-based project, and international collaboration and communication skills. |

課題を解くためには、情報通信関連の知識と技術が要求されるため、情報通信に係わる科目を履修しておくことが望ましい。また、外国の学生と対話するために、英語力が求められる。 Subjects related to information communication, English for International Communication, etc. |

導入、グループ化（日中混成チーム）と課題提示、グループによる課題追求、結果の発表・講評からなる。今年は５〜７月に全授業共通国際性涵養に関する授業、６〜７月に導入授業を行い、８月には海外大学で全員が集合してグループ編成してPBLがスタートする。１２月に本学で再び全員が集合し、成果結果発表と講評を予定している。 今年度のテーマは、無線ネットワーク、信号処理とロボティクスに関するテーマの３つ。詳しくは４月のガイダンスで説明する。詳細は別途掲示する。 （１）４〜７月：全授業共通国際性涵養に関する授業（数回） ・ガイダンス ・国際コミュニケーションスキル ・外国文化と日本文化の違い ・外国生活体験談をもとにした討論 （２）４〜７月：ＰＢＬ遂行における事前知識習得のための授業：プロジェクト毎（１〜２日） ・基礎知識の習得 ・使用実習装置の説明 ・プログラミング手法 （３）８月：海外大学における集合授業（6泊7日の予定） ・学生のグループ分け ・プロジェクト課題の発表 ・学生同士のコミュニケーションによる役割分担 （４）グループによるインターネットを活用した遠隔実習（30時間） ・プロジェクト課題達成のためにプログラムの共同作成、アイデアの確認 ・インターネットを通したディスカッション （５）１２月：本学でプロジェクトの仕上げ、成果発表会（3日） ・グループにおけるプロジェクト課題の仕上げ ・成果発表会 ・審査・表彰 Students from BUPT in China and UEC in Japan work together in cooperative groups, and try to find a solution to specific problems, which are from one of the areas of wireless network, digital signal processing, and robotics. April to July Guidance about the PBL schedule, insurance, etc. (several times) Learning basic knowledge for the PBL, etc. August The UEC students will go to BUPT, Beijing in August for about one week. Groups will be determined in this period. Each group will also give a presentation about what they have done and what they will do till December. September to December Discussion, programming, etc. December The BUPT students will come to UEC. Each group will finalized their work during period. Competition among groups, which are evaluated based on performance and ideas. Presentation Award ceremony, etc. |

この授業への履修登録には、4月のガイダンスに参加し、履修申請書を提出の上、履修が認められなければなりません。今年度のガイダンスは 4月12日（金）18時～＠東3号館総合研究棟306号室の予定です。 １大学１０〜１５人程度の枠なので、希望者多数の場合は、語学力などの審査を行う。 ＰＢＬの使用実習装置及び所要機材は貸与する。 Before registration to this PBL course, one should attend the guidance in April 12 (Friday) at E3-306 from 6 o'clock pm. |
