Class usually starts with a task called 4-3-2, where students speak about easy, everyday topics to develop speaking fluency.
Speaking tasks will require you to summarize or make an argument based on audio-visual materials.


Class 1: Class Introduction, Syllabus Overview, Creating Seesaw accounts
Class 2: Structure of a presentation
Class 3: Summarizing
Class 4: Practice Summary Presentation 1 (Round Robin Style)
Class 5: Feedback and Revision
Class 6: Graded Summary Presentation 1  (Round Robin Style)
Class 7: Outlining Summary presentation 2, Brainstorming
Class 8: Practice Summary Presentation 2 ( Round Robin Style)
Class 9: Feedback and Revision
Class 10: Graded Summary Presentation 2    
Class 11: Graded Summary Presentation 2
Class 12: Making Arguments
Class 13: Practice Making Arguments
Class 14: One-sided argument presentation
Class 15: One-sided argument presentation + Final in-class video journal

You should upload online a weekly self-recorded video journal outside of class.
