講義情報/Course Description

主題および 達成目標（2,000文字以内） /Themes and goals（up to 2,000 letters）	主題 2015年9月の国連サミットで採択された「持続的発展のためのアジェンダ」に掲げられた国際目標であるSDGs（Sustainable Development Goals）は，発展途上国のみならず先進国にも普遍的な関心事であり、我が国は各分野において積極的に取り組んでいる．この科目では，SDGsの目的とSDGsに寄与する情報通信（ICT：Information and Communications Technologies）を理解し，その達成に重要なエネルギー、情報セキュリティおよび情報通信政策を学ぶ.また，SDGsに関する17の目標のうち特に情報通信の寄与が期待される分野の事例と，関連する現場の見学によって，SDGsを支える情報通信を具体的に理解する． 達成目標 ① SDGsの制定経緯と内容，およびSDGsを支える情報通信に重要なエネルギー，情報セキュリティ，情報通信政策の課題を理解する． ② SDGsの実現において情報通信技術の寄与が期待される分野の事例を学び，具体的な課題に関して理解を深める． ③ SDGsの実現に向けて，技術者としての心構えと先見性を養う． Topic SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) means the international goal of "The Sustainable Development Agenda" adopted at the United Nations summit in Sep 2015, are a universal concern not only for developing countries but also for developed countries., and Japan is actively engaged in wide fields. In this course, students will understand the purpose of the SDGs and ICT (Information and Communications Technologies) that support the SDGs, and learn the energy, information security and ICT policy that are important for achieving SDGs. Then, students will study several specific fields where ICT are contributing to SDGs, through lectures and on-the-spot tours. Goals ① Understand the establishment and meaning of the SDGs, and key issues regarding ICT for SDGs, i.e. energy, information security and ICT policy. ② Study how ICTs are contributing to realize SDGs. ③ Cultivating engineers' readiness and foresight toward the realization of SDGs.

実務経験を活かした 授業内容 (実務経験内容も含む) /Course content utilizing practical experience	この科目を担当する本学教員は，企業等との共同研究の経験が豊富である．また，非常勤講師はICT関連の産業界での豊富な実務知識を有している．この科目は，これらの担当教員と非常勤講師によるオムニバス形式の授業であり，極めて実践的な内容である．    The faculty members for this course have a lot of experiences in joint research with enterprises. In addition, lecturers from outside have enough practical business knowledge in the ICT related industrial world. This course is given by these lecturers in an omnibus method, providing knowledge of diverse international science and technology communication.
授業時間外の学習 （予習・復習等）（1,000文字以内） /Preparation and review outside class（up to 1,000 letters）	事前に提供される講義資料に目を通し，授業中に質問できるようにしておく. Read the lecture materials provided in advance so that you can ask questions during class.
成績評価方法 および評価基準 （最低達成基準を含む） （1,000文字以内） /Evaluation and grading （up to 1,000 letters）	・成績評価方法 　演習における発表・討論の内容，および授業終了時に課す最終課題に対するレポートの内容を総合 して評価する． ・評価基準 到達目標①，②に関する理解度，到達目標③の心構えを以下の基準に従って評価する． A (80～100点)： ①，②の理解度が十分であり，③の心構えが十分養わされたと認められる． B（70～79点）： ①，②について大部分を理解しており，③の心構えが養われたと認められる． C（60～69点）： ①，②についてほぼ理解しており，③の心構えがある程度養われたと認められる． D (59点以下，不合格）： ①，②についての理解が不十分であり，③の心構えが養われていない． Evaluation method The contents of the presentations and discussions at the exercise and the reports on the final assignments will be evaluated comprehensively. Evaluation criteria The level of understanding of learning goals ① and ② and the attitude toward learning goal ③ based on the following evaluation criteria; A (80-100 points): It is recognized that goals ① and ② are sufficientｌｙ achieveｄ, and goal ③ has been fully cultivated. B (70-79 points):  It is recognized most of goals ① and ② are achieved, and goal ③ has been cultivated. C (60-69 points):  It is recognized most of goals ① and ② are achieved fairly, and goal ③ has been cultivated to some extent. D (59 points or less, rejected): Goals ① and ② are not fully achieved and goal ③ has not been cultivated.

It is also a subject for the Joint Innovative PhD Program, and is offered online to students of other universities.
