Using written English for summaries and one-sided arguments as appropriate for academic work. Learning how to summarize academic material in English and learning how to present a one-sided argument consisting of background information, an opinion statement, good reasons to support the opinion, and a conclusion. Writing will be practised in every class and there will be writing outside of class. Classes will be taught in English. |
