The purpose of this course is to improve both your English ability in both writing and speaking. You will learn how to summarize the main ideas of a text and then give a critical reaction to it. You will also be presenting an academic argument. |

Session 1: Introduction to the class. Session 2: Journal Discussion #1 Background Information on Australia. Session 3: Journal Discussion #2 Video on Australia and Interview with James. Session 4: Journal Discussion #3 One-sided and two-sided argument on issues regarding Australia. Session 5: Journal Discussion #4 Background Information on Indonesia. Session 6: Journal Discussion #5 Video on Indonesia and Interview with Anggara Sri Wisnu. Session 7: Journal Disucssion #6 One-sided and two-sided argument on issues regarding Indonesia.
