知的財産制度の基礎的及び専門的知識を習得すると共に、知的財産権業務の遂行に必要な知識（例えば、実際に企業等で知的財産制度がどのように活用されているかなど）、また、研究者、技術者として知っておかなければならない注意点などを習得する。 The main subject and goal of this class is to acquire basic and specialized knowledge of the intellectual property system, as well as the knowledge necessary to carry out intellectual property work (e.g., how the intellectual property system is actually used in companies, etc.), and the points to note that researchers and engineers must know. |

期末試験で評価します。 評価の基準・観点は概ね以下のとおりです。 ・研究開発に携わる者（発明者）として知っておくべき 知的財産権についての考え方（や知識）が身についているか？ ・「知的財産制度を理解するための枠組み」が身についているか？ また、以下の基準を満たしている場合は高く評価します。 ・内外の知的財産制度について幅広い知識が身についているか？ The final exam will be used for evaluation. The evaluation criteria and viewpoints are as follows. Are you familiar with the concept (and knowledge) of intellectual property rights that you should know as a person engaged in research and development (inventor)? Do they have a framework for understanding the intellectual property system? In addition, the following criteria will be highly evaluated if they are met. Do you have a broad knowledge of intellectual property systems in Japan and abroad? |

現在、社会において知的財産権の重要性は増大しており、特に研究者、技術者にとって、その知識は必須のものになっています。 政府は知的財産立国を目指しており、企業では知的財産権の創造を重視した研究開発が推進され、有力な知的財産を創出した研究者、技術者が高く評価されるようになってきています。一方、自己の研究成果であっても無断持ち出しに対して、企業機密を持ち出したとして厳しく罰せられる例や、ファイル交換ソフトの公開に対する著作権違反幇助事件など、研究者、技術者自身の安全のためにも、知的財産権の知識は必要です。 Today, the importance of intellectual property rights is increasing in society, and the knowledge of such rights has become essential, especially for researchers and engineers. The government is aiming to become an intellectual property nation, and companies are promoting research and development that emphasizes the creation of intellectual property rights, and researchers and engineers who have created influential intellectual property are highly valued. On the other hand, knowledge of intellectual property rights is necessary for the safety of researchers and engineers themselves, as there have been cases in which they have been severely punished for taking corporate secrets out of the company without permission, even if it is their own research results, and cases of aiding and abetting copyright violations against the release of file exchange software. |
