 Your grade for the semester is calculated from your achievement in the assignments and your effort in class and homework. You will have to give evidence that you have done the work. Remember, you get what you earn. I do not hand out A’s at the door.
 You are expected to participate actively in all class activities. Do NOT sleep in class and pay attention. Inappropriate behavior will count as one absence.
 If you are going to be absent, please talk to or email me before class begins to make arrangements for turning in your homework, making up class work, or getting any assignments or handouts you missed. If you do not contact me before class starts, any assignments you need to turn in will be considered late and you will not get credit for them.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE REPEATING THIS COURSE (再履修生必読):

I will ONLY accept "repeater students" who have filled in the forms at Kyomuka and whose names appear on the official class register. English Department is splitting the repeater students evenly between each class, and I am sorry to say this, but your individual wish will not be granted at this time.
