/Themes and goals（up to 2,000 letters）		 (a)自国中心主義・民族中心主義の台頭、移民・難民排斥運動の激化、自国中心の経済圏の構築などに見られるように、現在、世界には多極化の動向が見いだされる。その要因としての、政治的、社会的、文化的、歴史的背景を学習し、それと同時に、自身を成立させている背景を捉え直すことが、本講義の主題である。
(b)世界の多極化の要因となる背景を、自分自身のそれをも含めて理解し、それにより自己の行動指針を見いだすことが、本講義の目標である。

(a) Theme of the class: to understand the cultural background of each sphere of the world which would seem odd to you but which has its own logic
(b) Aim of the class: to find where you stand in the world today, which will lead you to know yourself

/Preparation and review outside class（up to 1,000 letters）		 授業前には、読解を指示された文献に目を通しておくこと。授業後は、指示された小レポートを仕上げること。

/Evaluation and grading
（up to 1,000 letters）		 (a)成績評価方法：各教員から出される小レポート（５人の担当者のうち、２回の提出を条件とする）。
(b)成績評価基準：文化を扱う態度（自己を自明視しないこと、他者の論理を――部分的にせよ――自己のものとして引き受けうる態度など）をどれほど理解しているか、そして、それをどれほど適切に表現できるかにより、評価されます。

(a) Reports are required by each lecturer(Subject to two submissions out of five).
(b) Evaluation: whether you learn the logic of ohters, how clear you express it in a paper.

/Message for students（up to 1,000 letters）		 　文化は、最終的な根拠を欠くにも関わらず、それなしでは済まされない一種の行動原理である。他国の文化の奇妙さを学ぶことで、自身の文化の――他の人々にとっての――奇妙さを学んでください。

Cultures decide how we think and act, though they have no clear reason. Other cultures seem odd. However, it is ture of ours. We should know how odd our culture is to others.

/Others		 　コロナウィルスの感染状況により、遠隔授業となる可能性があります。学域の授業と同様、三分の二以上の出席が求められます（ドイツ文化講義３回のうち２回以上の、フランス文化講義３回のうち２回以上の、ロシア文化講義３回のうち２回以上の、中国文化講義３回のうち２回以上の、韓国朝鮮文化講義３回のうち２回以上の出席が求められます。

This lecture has five sections (German, French, Russian, Chinese, Korean). You have to attend at least two times in each section. Otherwise, you could not get the credit.
