講義情報/Course Description

主題および 達成目標（2,000文字以内） /Themes and goals（up to 2,000 letters）	日本の法律、裁判、税制、社会保障など、社会制度について知る。 Students will learn about Japan's social systems, including laws, courts, election, tax, and social security.

授業内容と その進め方（2,000文字以内） /Course outline and weekly schedule（up to 2,000 letters）	日本で生活するうえで、知っておくべき日本の社会制度について概観する。担当講師による講義、学生の司会による討論で理解を深める。また、発表とその準備における調査活動を通して、日本の社会のあり方について理解を深める。 1 オリエンテーション 2 日本の憲法と法律：教員による導入と講義 3 日本の憲法と法律：学生による調査活動と討論 4 日本の憲法と法律：学生による発表 5 日本の裁判制度：教員による導入と講義 6 日本の裁判制度：学生による調査活動と討論 7 日本の裁判制度：学生による発表 8 日本の選挙制度：教員による導入と講義 9 日本の選挙制度：学生による調査活動と討論 10 日本の選挙制度：学生による発表 11 日本の税制と社会保障：教員による導入と講義 12 日本の税制と社会保障：学生による調査活動と討論 13 日本の税制と社会保障：学生による発表 14 最終発表①（前半の発表） 15 最終発表②（残り半数の発表）とまとめ This course will provide an overview of the Japanese social system that international students need to know in order to live in Japan. Lectures by the instructor and discussions moderated by students will deepen understanding. Students will also deepen their understanding of the state of Japanese society through presentations and research activities in preparation for the presentations. 1 Orientation 2 Japanese Constitution and Law: Introduction and lecture by the instructor 3 Japanese Constitution and Law: Research activities and discussion by students 4 Japanese Constitution and Law: Presentation by students 5 Japanese Court System: Introduction and lecture by faculty 6 The Japanese Court System: Research Activities and Discussions by Students 7 The Japanese Judicial System: Student Presentations 8 The Japanese Election System: Introduction and Lectures by Faculty 9 Japanese Election System: Research Activities and Discussions by Students 10 Japanese Election System: Student Presentations 11 Taxation and Social Security in Japan: Introduction and Lectures by Faculty 12 Taxation and Social Security in Japan: Research Activities and Discussions by Students 13 Taxation and Social Security in Japan: Presentations by students 14 Final Presentation 1 (Presentation of the first half) 15 Final Presentation 2 (Presentation of the other half) and Wrap-up session
実務経験を活かした 授業内容 (実務経験内容も含む) /Course content utilizing practical experience
授業時間外の学習 （予習・復習等）（1,000文字以内） /Preparation and review outside class（up to 1,000 letters）	授業で使用する資料等を事前に配布するので、資料の内容、キーワードの意味など確認しておくこと。 Materials to be used in class will be provided in advance, so please be sure to check the contents of the materials and the meanings of key words.
成績評価方法 および評価基準 （最低達成基準を含む） （1,000文字以内） /Evaluation and grading （up to 1,000 letters）	レポートによるが、クラス活動への参加および出席も重視する。 なお、授業に出席しても、授業にまったく参加していない場合は欠席とみなすので注意すること。 課題・提出物：30％　　レポート：40％　　参加：30％ Evaluation will be based on reports, but participation and attendance in class activities will also be emphasized. Please note that even if you attend class, if you do not participate in class at all, it will be considered as an absence. In-class assignments: 30% Final reports: 40% Participation: 30

学生へのメッセージ（1,000文字以内） /Message for students（up to 1,000 letters）	日本の社会制度について、できるだけ皆さんにとって必要性が高いものをテーマにしたいと考えています。身近な事柄に関心を持ち、皆さんの問題意識で授業を活性化してください。 Your lecturer would like to deal with topics of high interest to you regarding social system in Japan as much as possible. Students are expected to be interested in issues related to this field, and stimulate the class with your discussions.
その他 /Others	原則として対面式授業を行う予定です。また資料の配布はメールを通じて行います。受講希望者は、第一回目の授業の前に担当教員宛にメールを送ってください。 Basically, face-to-face classes will be held. In addition, materials will be distributed via e-mail. If you wish to take the course, please send an e-mail to the instructor in charge before the first class.
