主題： ラテンアメリカ政治史概論 Topic: Introduction to Latin American political history 達成目標： （１）ラテンアメリカ政治に関する基礎的な事件や概念を説明できるようになる。 （２）（１）に関連するラテンアメリカではない地域の状況を説明できるようになる。 Goals: (1) Develop the ability to explain basic events and concepts related to Latin American politics (2) Acquire the capability to describe situations in regions outside of Latin America that are relevant to the aforementioned events and concepts. |

English type : Cb 授業内容： ラテンアメリカ政治史の概要を解説する。古代から21世紀までのラテンアメリカ政治の展開を学ぶことは、世界における政治発展を学ぶことにも役立つ。とりわけ、国家や民主制といった今日の政治における基本的な制度の理解につながる。 進め方： 授業は対面で行う。各回の講義内容は次の通り。第2回から第12回までは、講義のあとにクイズを出す。 １ ラテンアメリカ政治の全体像 ２ 独立前のラテンアメリカ ３ 独立直後の国家形成 ４ ポピュリズムの時代へ ５ ポピュリズムの政治 ６ 軍による政治支配 ７ 軍事政権の多様性 ８ 民主制への展開 南米 ９ 民主制への展開 中米 10 新自由主義改革 11 左傾化 12 これからのラテンアメリカ政治：第二の左傾化？ 13 これからのラテンアメリカ政治：先住民運動 14 期末試験・正解の提示 15 学生の解答に対するコメント Course outline: This course provides an overview of the political history of Latin America. Studying the development of Latin American politics from ancient times to the 21st century is useful for understanding political development in the world. In particular, it contributes to the understanding of fundamental political institutions today, such as state and democracy. Weekly schedule: This course will be offered in person. The content of each lecture is as follows. From the 2nd to the 12th lecture, a quiz will be given after each class. 1. Overview of Latin American Politics 2. Latin America before Independence 3. Nation-Building after Independence 4. Toward the Era of Populism 5. Populist Politics 6. Military Rule 7. Variety of Military Regimes 8. Paths toward Democratic Regime - South America 9. 電気通信大学は2019年4月に共同サステイナビリティ研究専攻を開設するなど、いわゆる異文化の背景や価値観に対する理解を踏まえた社会問題へのアプローチに関心を向けている。貧困や暴力など人類が抱える問題の歴史的起源を、ラテンアメリカという実例を通じて考えることも、本講義のねらいの1つである。 The UEC has shown an interest in addressing social issues based on an understanding of different cultural backgrounds and values, as demonstrated by the establishment of the Joint Doctoral Program for Sustainability Research (JDPSR) in April 2019. One of the aims of this lecture is to consider the historical origins of problems facing humanity, including poverty and violence, through the example of Latin America. |
