講義情報/Course Description

主題および 達成目標（2,000文字以内） /Themes and goals（up to 2,000 letters）	（主題）科学技術と倫理について考える この講義では、科学技術の進歩に関する過去の事例を検討し、現代社会においてどのような倫理的な問題があるのか示します。例えば、ロボット倫理、情報倫理、生命倫理などの応用倫理学を扱います。授業では哲学や文学などの文献も用います。 科学技術に対して自分は今後どのように関わっていくことができるのか、よい社会を実現するためにどのようなルールが必要なのか考えていきたいと思います。 （達成目標） この授業の目標は、科学技術の倫理的な問題を自分で考えられるようになることです。 (Topic)Thinking about science, technology and ethics In this course, we will look at past cases of scientific and technological progress and show what ethical issues exist in modern society. For example, we will cover applied ethics such as robot ethics, information ethics, and bioethics. The course materials include philosophical texts and literary works. We will encourage students to think about how they can be involved with science and technology in the future and what rules are necessary to realize a better society. (Goals) The goal of this course is to think for yourself about ethical issues related to science and technology.

授業内容と その進め方（2,000文字以内） /Course outline and weekly schedule（up to 2,000 letters）	英語分類Ccで行う。（日本語で説明し、日本語の教材・資料を使う） リアクションペーパーと期末レポートは日本語で提出すること。 以下の内容を予定しています。 第1回　イントロダクション：現代の日本で倫理を考えるということ 第2回　AIロボットと人間性 第3回　印刷技術、火薬、羅針盤 第4回　「進歩」という観念 第5回　よい未来を計画できるか 第6回　製造工程と大衆社会 第7回　近代の技術：芸術との違い 第8回　人間性と環境破壊 第9回　近世日本の自然保護思想 第10回　文明と野生 第11回　情報と倫理 第12回　遺伝子治療と倫理 第13回　患者の同意取得はなぜ重要か 第14回　現代社会で倫理的に考える必要があると思うこと 第15回　科学技術のELSI：科学・倫理・社会との関係を考える （ここに示した内容は予定です。授業の進行状況によって変わる場合があります。） 作成したプリントに即して講義します。さらに、各授業の終わりにリアクションペーパーに感想・質問を書いてもらい、次の授業の冒頭でその一部に応答します。 English Type Cc: Students can write minutes papers and a term paper in Japanese only. 1. ELSI of Science and technology: thinking about the relationship between science, ethics and society (The content is tentative and may change depending on the progress of the class.) Lectures will be given based on handouts. At the beginning of each class, I will answer questions and comments students wrote on minute papers.
実務経験を活かした 授業内容 (実務経験内容も含む) /Course content utilizing practical experience
授業時間外の学習 （予習・復習等）（1,000文字以内） /Preparation and review outside class（up to 1,000 letters）	前回の授業の内容を配布資料や各自のノートを使って、復習しておくこと。また、授業に関連する論文 や本も読んで欲しい。 Students are expected to review a previous lecture by handouts and their notes, and to read some related papers and books.
成績評価方法 および評価基準 （最低達成基準を含む） （1,000文字以内） /Evaluation and grading （up to 1,000 letters）	平常点：リアクションペーパー20％ 期末レポート：80％ 最低到達基準 10回以上リアクションペーパーを提出し、レポートで60点以上を取ること。 詳細は途中の回の授業で説明します。 Minute paper 20％ Term Paper 80％ Minimum passing criteria: Student must submit minutes papers at least ten times and score at least 60 on a term paper. Details will be explained in upcoming week.
