講義情報/Course Description

主題および 達成目標（2,000文字以内） /Themes and goals（up to 2,000 letters）	(a) Topic: In the era of globalizing and mobility, regardless of domestic or international, cross-cultural understanding, foreign language ability and global communication skills for pursuing international activities are increasingly demanded. This course is aimed at nurturing the students’ adaptability to intercultural and multicultural environments and fostering their professional foreign language operational capability through participating in the overseas language-training program. (b) Goals: Through the training process, enables the students to develop and enhance skills, knowledge and competence both professionally and personally in order to improve performance at their future international career. Upon completion of the course, the students will have acquired   - The skills of perception and understanding of another culture and society.   - The communication skills in a foreign language and willingness to engage with individuals with different culture background and behavioral norms.   - The understanding of different environments and policies, and the procedures and countermeasure needed to achieve their own goal.   - The knowledge and countermeasures to maintain their own safety and health while abroad. - From an international perspective, to look back at (relativize) one's own society, culture, history, and to re-examine one's understanding of one's own nation. 　- The foreign language operational capability for their research and expertise field. (a) 主題： グローバル化の進む世界にあって、国内外を問わず、異文化理解、外国語習得、国際的活動に必要なコミュニケーション能力が強く求められている。本科目は、大 学の海外派遣語学留学プログラムへの参加を通じて、異文化・多文化環境への適応力の養成と、外国語による実践的なコミュニケーション力、さらには専門分野 における外国語運用能力の向上を図ることを目的とする。 (b) 達成目標： 学生が研修に自律的に取り組むことで、将来の国際的活動に必要な姿勢と基礎力を身につける。 ・派遣先の国の社会・文化に対する理解を深める。 ・異なる背景を持つ人々との交流に対する積極性と外国語によるコミュニケーションスキルを身につける。 ・異なる環境、制度を理解し、自身の目標達成のために必要な手続きと対処ができるようになる。 ・海外への渡航時、滞在時に必要な基本的知識、自身の安全と健康を守るための知識と対処法を身に着け、将来的に一人で安全に海外渡航できるようになる。 ・国際的な視点から自国の社会、文化、歴史等を振り返り（相対化し）、自国についての認識を再評価する。 ・自らの専門分野において、研究上必要な専門的な外国語運用能力を養う。
前もって履修 しておくべき科目（1,000文字以内） /Prerequisites（up to 1,000 letters）	・Prior to the practical training, it is desirable to enhance the knowledge and operational capability of the learning language. ・Other details will be specified separately for each overseas training program. ・研修の学習対象となる言語について、研修前にできるだけ知識と運用力を高めておくことが望ましい。 ・その他、詳細は各海外研修プログラム別に定める。
前もって履修しておくこ とが望ましい科目（1,000文字以内） /Recommended prerequisites and preparation（up to 1,000 letters）	Prior to departure, students are required to 1) possess an adequate knowledge regarding overseas risk management and security measures, and 2) participate in a “pre-departure risk and safety orientation” session. ・海外研修に関わる危機管理・安全対策においては、出発前の情報収集、海外でのリスクについて事前に知り、十分に対応策を準備してくおくこと。 ・渡航前の学内開催する「海外渡航危機管理オリエンテーション」は原則として必ず参加すること。
教科書等（1,000文字以内） /Course textbooks and materials（up to 1,000 letters）	Will be set individually for each overseas training program. 各海外研修プログラム別に定める。
授業内容と その進め方（2,000文字以内） /Course outline and weekly schedule（up to 2,000 letters）	Course Schedule: Lesson 1 (Pre-Departure Study Activity 1): Flow and Significance of Exchange Study Abroad/Various Procedures Necessary for Overseas Training Lesson 2 (Pre-Departure Study Activity 2): Various Systems of the Host Country / Preparations for Traveling Abroad Lesson 3 (Pre-Departure Study Activity 3): Outline of History and Culture of Each Country / Differences in Communication between Japanese and English (or the Target Language) Lesson 4 (Pre-Departure Study Activity 4): Final Confirmation Before Departure / Safety Management Lessons 5-13: Overseas Training Lesson 14: Preparation for Results Presentation / Creation of Language Study Abroad Report Lesson 15: Final accomplishment report meeting (Presentation) Notes: * In addition to the above, there may be gatherings for procedures, assessments, etc. Also, multiple learning activities may be conducted together in a single session. * For the pre-departure study activities, assignments for each session and necessary documents for participation in the training must be submitted by the deadline. Furthermore, necessary procedures must be completed by the deadline. * During the overseas training, learning will be conducted according to each individual learning program. * Weekly reports must be submitted during the overseas training period. * After the completion of the overseas training, a language study abroad report must be submitted. Additionally, a presentation will be given at the final accomplishment report meeting. 講義スケジュール： 第1回（留学前学修活動1）　派遣留学の流れと意義・海外研修に必要な諸手続き 第2回（留学前学修活動2）　派遣先国の諸制度・渡航準備について 第3回（留学前学修活動3）　各国の歴史文化概略・日本語と英語（又は対象言語）のコミュニケーションの違い 第4回（留学前学修活動4）　出発前の最終確認・安全管理について 第5～第13回　海外研修 第14回　成果報告会準備・語学留学報告書の作成 第15回　成果報告会 注： ※上記の他、手続きやアセスメント等のために集合することがある。また各学修活動は複数回をまとめて行うことがある。 ※留学前学修活動においては各回の課題、研修参加に必要な書類を期日までに提出すること。また、必要な手続きを期日までに行うこと。 ※海外研修では、それぞれの学習プログラムに従って学習する。 ※海外研修期間中は週報を提出する。 ※海外研修終了後、語学留学報告書を提出する。また、成果報告会において発表を行う。
実務経験を活かした 授業内容 (実務経験内容も含む) /Course content utilizing practical experience
授業時間外の学習 （予習・復習等）（1,000文字以内） /Preparation and review outside class（up to 1,000 letters）	To enhance the effectiveness of the overseas training program, it is recommended to proactively study the language that will be the target of learning during the training. The specifics during the overseas training will depend on each individual program. Before and after the overseas training program, language proficiency will be assessed using CEFR-J (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - Japanese). Assessments related to the overseas training may also be conducted in addition to CEFR-J. 海外研修の効果を高めるため、研修の学習対象となる言語について積極的に学習しておくことをすすめる。海外研修中は、各プログラムによる。海外研修プログラムの前後には、CEFR-J（言語能力アセスメントテスト）による測定を行う。またCEFR-J以外でも海外研修に伴うアセスメントを行うことがある。
成績評価方法 および評価基準 （最低達成基準を含む） （1,000文字以内） /Evaluation and grading （up to 1,000 letters）	Full participation in all the prescribed pre-departure study activities and the results presentation is required. The final course grade will be　comprehensively evaluated based on attendance at pre-departure study activities, engagement with assignments, submission of weekly reports, overseas training grades/achievements and certificate of completion, performance, final report, and presentation. 定められた留学前学修活動及び報告会にすべて参加する。留学前学修活動への出席、課題への取り組み、週報の提出、海外研修プログラムの成績・修了証、語学留学報告書及び成果報告発表から総合的に評価する。

その他 /Others	This refers to overseas training programs conducted at our partner institutions and oversea locations during the summer and spring breaks. Information sessions will be held in April and October.
